On 4 November 2024 in Brussels Cepconsult took part in the Eurogas Tech Conference ‘Decarbonisation in action: The potential of bioenergy and hydrogen for CCS’.

Held for the first time in-person only, the conference discussed the EU leadership in bioenergy with carbon capture and storage, or BECCS and carbon capture, utilisation and storage, or CCS/CCUS in the context of the EU climate target for 2040 initiative.

Leading representatives of the industry namely German Uniper, Norwegian Equinor, RAG Austria as well as respective representatives of DG ENER, European Commission and European Parliament participated in the discussion. The conference was followed by networking drinks at Stanhope Hotel.
