During the conference, high-level speakers from the European institutions, industries and civil society among them Charlotte Roule, GIE Board member, GSE President CEO of Storengy and Renato Winkler, Senior Director, Business Development, Picarro presented and discussed the challenges on the way to decarbonise our energy system, the role of the gas infrastructure industry which has become increasingly crucial. Following a successful event bringing together +200 attendees from across the whole gas value chain, GRIDTech 2023 has renewed its role as a forum to discuss the challenges and opportunities of gas infrastructure planning.
According to the conclusions of the participants of the event the year of 2024 will focus on: energy system integration for hydrogen, electricity and CO2, methane emissions reduction, unlocking the EU’s hydrogen economy with the underground hydrogen storage, future-proofed infrastructure for renewable & low-carbon gases.
