On 12 April 2026 in Vienna Cepconsult took part in the 9th WEAF Annual Energy Conference: “Securing Europe’s Energy Future: Markets And Energy Geopolitics In Uncertain Times”.

Organized jointly by the Wiener Euro-Asiatisches Forum (WEAF) and Diplomatische Akademie Wien-Vienna School Of International Studies (DAW) the event brought together distinguished representatives from diplomacy, government, business and academia to discuss the future of Europe’s energy markets, supply security and geopolitical challenges in a rapidly changing international environment.

As geopolitical tensions persist and EU energy markets continue to evolve, this year’s conference focused on practical solutions to strengthen resilience, market integration and security of supply across Europe. Leading experts from across the energy sector, policy and academia exchanged their views on electricity and gas markets, regulatory developments, energy transition and global supply challenges.
